I usually don’t spend a lot of time browsing through different music or discovering new songs. Instead of music, I usually listen to podcasts instead. But time to time I enjoy listening to good music. However, it’s difficult for me to find new songs that I like because I don’t even understand what kind of music each genre is like, and I don’t listen to music often enough for Spotify to recommend me music that I actually like.
I know this is a weird problem, but what is the best way to find certain music that you like? Do you just search through genres you prefer, recommended artists/songs, or browse through sites like Spotify or SoundCloud?
I am a 19 year old guy in college. I use Spotify (not premium) and also have Shazaam. Never really got into SoundCloud just because I always thought it was a platform for more amateur artists.
